Backpack – Abyss Lake Trail
This trip is for BKPS Group 5 only. Two night car shuttle backpacking trip. Begin at Guanella Pass, take the Rosalie Trail to the Abyss Trail, hike up to Helms Lake to camp night 1. On day 2, day hike to Abyss Lake for lunch, hike back to camp to pack and move to campsite 2 on the Abyss Trail. Hike out to the Abyss Trailhead on day 3.

On Friday August 8, meet at 6:45 am at the Twin Forks PNR. We will drive from here to the Abyss/Burning Bear Trailhead, leave 2 cars here, and drive to Guanella Pass to begin our trip.
