This is a beginner snowshoe trip exclusively for recent graduates of the Boulder Group Beginner Snowshoe School. It will be at a moderate pace. We will snowshoe out to the CMC Boulder Group Brainard Cabin, warm up there, then snowshoe back to the parking area.
Note that this is a fee area for parking ($10/day) unless you have a pass such as the Senior Pass or Annual Interagency Pass. We will try to carpool so that each car has someone with a pass, but be aware that if there are not enough people with passes that the driver may have to pay the daily fee, it can then be split between riders.
Meet at 8am at the Nederland Park and Ride - 268 W 2nd St, Nederland, CO 80466.
Required Equipment
Ten essentials plus appropriate layers for a winter outing. Snowshoes/poles, gaiters.
