BPX Trip – BPX 2-Day: Betty and Bob Lakes from Hessie TH
This two day, one night journey to Betty and Bob Lakes begins at the Hessie TH near Nederland and follows the King Lake Trail for 6.0 miles to Betty Lake. These picturesque lakes rest against the eastern slopes of the Continental Divide in the heart of the Indian Peaks Wilderness.

On Day 1, we will hike 6 miles up to Betty Lake, setup camp near treeline, and in the afternoon do a short excursion up to Bob Lake to get a closer look at Skyscraper glacier. Day 2 we will enjoy our breakfast and the morning splendor, break camp when we are ready, and hike out. Prior backpacking experience required. Please contact the trip leader for permission to register.
CMC Basecamp, Golden CO at 7:00AM with planned departure at 7:15AM.

10 essentials for backpacking, 2 days worth of food, water treatment, bear bag or food storage canister. Be prepared for variable mountain weather as camp will be at ~11,450.
