Bring water, and a snack, or light lunch.  It's still early in the year.  Dress in layers.  We won't know the condition of the creek before we get there.  The creek could still be frozen, or to high to cross.  The plan is to go clockwise.  If the stream isn't passable we will do an in and out.

Dogs are welcome.  Be prepared to keep them on leash.  Be aware of cactus.  Tweezers may be useful.  Bring water for the long, dry stretches.

The El Pueblo group will meet at the north end of the old Kmart parking lot, 3415 N. Elizabeth, Pueblo, CO. at 7:45 am.  Car pooling arrangements can be made before, or there.  A second meetup will take place at the trial head at 9:15 am.  The road to the trail head and parking lot are suitable for all vehicles, county maintained for local residents.
