Sunset and Strawberry Full(ish - 99%) Moon hike up Green via the Westridge. Qwik 45m ascent, spend time at the summit with the setting sun, then 1+ hour descent with stops to watch the moon rise.

We will ascend the 1.9 miles, 600' in 45+ minutes, so a spirited but still social (for some) pace. The moon rises at 8:30, so will catch a glimpse of it on the horizon before descending for more spectacular views on the way down.  Back to cars by 9:30

7:15p ready to hike Green Mountain Westridge Trailhead. We can also carpool from Chautauqua Ranger Station departing at 7:00.  I can take 4.
