Hiking – Brainard Lake Rec Area - Mitchell Lake TH - Blue Lake

I did this hike to Mitchell and Blue Lakes last year, and it's very scenic! We even came across a momma moose and its baby! More details to follow in my welcome hiker email.  

I have a timed-entry permit for Mitchell Lake Trailhead (beginning at 8 a.m.) and can bring four others in my vehicle.  I'm driving from Longmont and can pick up people who park off Lefthand Canyon Drive north of the Greenbriar Inn north of Boulder off Highway 36 (7:15 a.m.) or from the Brainard Lake Winter Lot (8:00 a.m. in front of warming hut).  We'll begin our hike around 8:15 a.m.
