This Colorado Trail segment 2 has been reported clear of snow. It passes through the Pike National Forest with beautiful red rocks and dirt.  The second half is in open terrain.  Portions of this trail are exploratory for leader.  This hike is for you if you have been hiking 10 miles with 2.1K ' of elevation gain with a consistent speed of 1.8 mph overall (includes rests) within cmc.  Reach out to me with any questions or wanting to sign up.: rdobrotin1@gmail.com
