Hiking – Finch Lake
We will take advantage of the Wild Basin Road still being open and start from the Finch Lake Trailhead. Steady uphill for approx 4 miles to Finch Lake. On the return we will divert to the Allenspark Trail to Calypso Cascades and then head to Wild Basin TH. This is a lovely semi loop trail with beautiful views. Expect mostly dry trails with occasional ice.

All hikers should be moderately fast hikers used to hiking with only short breaks as needed.
We should have nice weather - sunny with temps ranging from 32-46 F.

Northern hikers can meet at the Lyons Park n Ride on Railroad Ave. at 7:30 am to carpool to Wild Basin.
We will meet at Finch Lake TH in Wild Basin around 8:10 am if you are driving on your own.
If we have hikers from other areas, we will set up a meeting spot once I see the roster.
