Let's explore this rarely open trail! As a State Wildlife Area and hunting arena, it is open to hikers only a few months of the year. In the Mt Evans Wilderness close to Evergreen. We will do an out-and-back trip. This trip is exploratory for the leaders.

Meet at The Fort Restaurant, 19192 CO-8, Morrison, CO 80465.  Arrive by 8:00 for a prompt drive away. If the roads are bad due to weather that morning, I may move the meet time to a later time. 

We will drive to the Grass Creek TH on Upper Bear Creek Rd west of Evergreenbit.ly/40l6rjv.  The exact location is 39.620241916470846, -105.4759401302328, on the south side of the road.

The per car shared cost is $13.00/per car, to be divided equally among the occupants, including the driver.
