We'll plan for a lunch stop along the way. For those that are interested, I suggest we meet for a celebratory beverage afterwards in Divide or Woodland Park.
If the hike is full, preference will be given to El Pueblo and Pikes Peak members.
Those wishing to carpool, or drive, from Pueblo will meet at the southeast corner of the Albertsons parking lot at 1601 US-50, Pueblo, CO 81008 at 6:30am. The second meetup will be at the Horsethief Park Trailhead at 8:15. From Divide, Colorado drive south on Hwy 67 for 8 miles until you come to a parking area on the left (east) side of Hwy 67 (next to an old, closed tunnel). Parking is along both shoulders/sides of Highway 67. The trail begins on the east side of the highway - next to the old tunnel entrance. Direction to the trailhead can be found on Google.
