Hiking – Jones Pass
We will try to circle the valley at its head. Bring your ice ax; we may find a site to glissade. We can expect views of the Front, Williams Fork and Gore Ranges.

Met at Wooly Mammoth west end for an 8AM departure.
We'll drive as far up the road as we can, or to the valley of the West Fork. From there we'll gain the Continental Divide Trail and follow it around the valley, as the situation allows. Terrain and trail conditions will vary, from dry to postholing to icy to hopefully a glissade. We will follow our noses and see what we can see!
Required Equipment
Ten E's, spikes, gaiters, ice ax.
