Hiking – Lion Canyon Trail to Locke Park

Hike up the canyon, hoping there will be some water at the 3 creek crossings. Check out the view of the Sangres from the shade of ancient Ponderosas.

It will be hot, despite the early start, so bring at least 2 liters of water. If you bring dogs, bring plenty of water for them. The stream may be dry.

Meet at 7:30 at the north end of Pueblo; address to be determined, or Pueblo West. Possibility to meet others in Canyon City at 8:15.
