Hiking – Missouri Lakes Loop: Fancy Lake, Fancy Pass, Missouri pass, Missouri Lakes

This is a spectacular loop hike in the Holy Cross Wilderness.  It has climbs over 2 high passes, including a steep climb up and over Fancy pass from Fancy lake, and a steep climb over Missouri pass at 11,986 ft.  The reward for the effort will be several beautiful alpine lakes in three drainages, such as Fancy Lake and several Missouri Lakes, and lots of wildflowers.

Due to the length of the hike, and especially the relatively long drive to and from the trailhead, this will be a long day.  You should not have anything else planned that day.
