Let's start the new year with a hike up Mt Bierstadt. Starting from the *winter* trailhead, this hike is 11 miles RT with about 3200' of gain. The hike starts with a road walk, then goes up the standard trail. 

This hike is highly weather dependent! Snowstorms, extreme cold or winds will cancel.
