For Rocky Mountain Over the Hill Gang members ONLY. We will hike the second half of segment 1 of the Denver Orbital Trail (DOT) – Lookout Mountain to Apex Park.

The DOT is a walking route that makes a full circle around Denver. The second half of segment 1 starts at the top of Lookout Mountain and then descends through the rolling mountain meadows of Apex Park. There is 2083 of elevation loss on this hike. We will meet at 9:00am at the Apex Parking Lot. We will carpool to the top of Lookout Mountain and hike back down to the Apex parking lot.
Required Equipment
Dress appropriately for the weather, including sunscreen and a hat. Bring a snack/lunch and plenty of water. If you use hiking poles, bring them.
