The DOT is a walking route that makes a full circle around Denver. We are hiking segments 25 & 26. We will be on a variety of trails including Big Dry Creek, Standley Lake, Farmers & Croke Canals, Little Dry Creek, Hoyt Way (street), W 80th Ave (pedestrian path), and Croke Canal. We’ll pass by or through the following parks and Open Space: Big Dry Creek Open Space, Westbrook Park, Standley Lake Regional Park, Lakecrest Park, Woodrun Park, Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge, Club Crest Park North, and Majestic View Park. Whew – all in a little over 6 miles!

There is a bathroom where we are meeting and one along the way.
This route is exploratory for the trip leaders.
Since the distance between trailheads is short and half of us will be driving, there will be no carpool cost sharing.
We will meet at 9:00am at Majestic View Park parking lot, 8880 W 72nd Ave., Arvada, CO 80004. https://maps.app.goo.gl/uR8FmdHn1sh4hzBe8. We will then carpool to our starting spot at Big Dry Creek Trail Head.
