Welcome to Rise & Grind, the CMC Boulder Group’s morning hiking and coffee series.  Our objective is to start our day off right with some exercise, good company and a little mindfulness.  In addition to the hike itself, we’ll pause on the summit for a moment of silent reflection and set our intentions for the day.  Afterward there will be an optional stop for coffee, symbolizing a fresh start and the energy needed to conquer the day.

This morning Rise & Grind will hike Sanitas Valley and Dakota Ridge with a side quest up and down the Goat Trail.  We will not be summiting Mount Sanitas.  The route will ascend less than 600 feet over 3.6 miles round trip.  The trip should take approximately two hours, but allow for up to three.

Please note, while this will be a easy hike, it is not designed to be a beginner trip.  This will be a before-work hike for some participants, so it’s important that we maintain our pace and finish promptly so folks can get to work on time.  Please know your own abilities and be considerate of the rest of the group when you sign up. 

Meetup time will be 5:55am, leaving at 6:00am sharp; please be on time.
