Park off the Mt. Evans Hwy past Summit Lake (closes next weekend), and bushwhack S 1 mile to Epaulet (13523’) and Epaulie (13530’) summits. Bushwhack SE 1 mi. up ridgeline to Rosalie Peak (13575’). Bushwhack in a loop back below Epaulie to the TH. Lots of off-trail up and down, all above 13000 feet.
Mt Evans Wilderness Limit = 15
We will need timed entry permits for 8-10am and National Parks passes for each vehicle.
Each participant is expected to carry all 10+ Essentials.
I like to keep the whole group within yelling distance pretty much all the time, so if you are a free-spirited wanderer, this may not be the trip for you.
