Hiking – Starting from Elliott Ridge, hike to Mahan Lake

This trip is exploratory - leader has been in area but not on this trail.

This hike starts out downhill on a 4WD road, then has some ups and downs as it eventually turns into a trail on the way to the lake.  We will stop for lunch or a snack at the lake and take other breaks as needed. 

The access road to Elliott's Ridge can be muddy and slippery when wet, so hike will be rescheduled if it has been wet or if the forecast shows rain.
