Hiking – Stillwell Tunnel - Liberty Bell Mine
Well behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on this hike to accompany me and my friendly Golden Retriever, Augie. The hike starts at the intersection of Oak St and Tomboy Road and soon arrives at the West end of the Jud Wiebe Trail. This is a steep climb to a saddle where the Liberty Bell Mine diverts to the Right. Passing Liberty Bell Flats a left turn at another intersection leads to the Stillwell Tunnel which feeds water to the Telluride storage tank.
