This is an out and back hike, mostly on a well-established trail. There is a trail to the west summit. The out and back from the east summit to the south summit will be off-trail. There is some rock hopping and Class 2+ scrambling to get to the east summit, which is the highest summit on Twin Sisters Peak, as well as on the off-trail section over to the South Sister.
