Trip
Hiking – Waterfall Creek and Basin
The lightly used Waterfall Creel trail starts in the small mountain village of Ophir on the East Side of Lizard Head Pass. We'll follow a combination of old roads and trails, with some steep sections, until we arrive in Waterfall Basin. Although the many waterfalls will be diminished by this time of season, the views and wildflowers should be amazing. The distance and elevation gain are variable depending on how far we decide to travel into the basin. The posted distance and elevation are ambitious estimates.

I suggest bringing water shoes since there is at least one crossing of Waterfall Creek in the Basin which may be a wet crossing.
