Depart Saturday AM from Henson Creek road / campsite. Drive up 4 mile 4x4 road to Nellie Creek trailhead.
Hike to summit, stopping ever hour or so for a break. Enjoy summit for 30mins or so.
Descend, Trailside Margaritas will be on the trail. They will setup about 2 miles into the hike. They summit early, and return to camp to be trail angels and hand out snacks and drinks. There is usually a stream to relax the feet, at this point too.
Will meet near Lake City evening of Friday July 18th.

Required Equipment
Hiking conditions may change rapidly. Be prepared for rain. There is some water on the hike, a water filter may be helpful.
Be sure to bring enough food and water for your trip. Sunscreen, hat, trekking poles, are good ideas too. 10 essentials, are very important!
