This is the LIT Hike for Travis Doris. This is a four (4) mile loop hike originating from the Reynolds Park parking lot to the Eagle's View observation point, then traveling along the Eagle's View ridgeline before completing the loop back in the Reynolds Park parking lot. This is a favorite hike less than an hour from Denver that allows visitors to climb to some of the best scenic overlooks within the JeffCo Parks and Open Space.

Starting from the Reynolds Park parking lot (13649 South Foxton Road, Conifer, CO 80433), the hike will follow a series of smaller, connected trails to form a loop that returns to the parking lot origination point. The first trail will be Fox Trot Trail (<0.1 mi), which heads southwest from the parking lot to intersect Owl Prowl Trail. Owl Prowl Trail (0.1 mi) is a connecting trail to Oxen Draw Trail, which will be followed for 0.8 miles until joining with Eagles View Trail (approximate elevation gain of 550 ft). Eagles View Trail will lead deeper up the mountain, assending 340 ft over 0.6 miles, until it emerges from the tree cover to reach the Eagle View Observation point. Here hikers will be awarded views of the mountains to the south. From the observation point, the trail exits tree cover and continues 0.8 miles along a ridgeline, providing continuous views of the southern range, before taking a sharp turn back under the trees and beginning the return descent to the parking lot. From the sharp turn, Eagles View Trail continues for another 0.8 miles descending 300 ft to Ravens Roost trail. Ravens Roost trail decends a further 460 ft for 0.6 miles, before intersecting the Elkhorn Loop trail. Elkhorn Loop leads 0.3 miles back to Fox Trot trail, returning to the original parking lot.
