RMOTHG Trip – Berthoud Pass - Second Creek TH
This is a beautiful hike up above the Broome Hut to a high broad ridge with views of Vasquez Peak, the back side of the Indian Peaks, and distant views to the north. At Broome Hut there is a wonderful view to the east of Mt. Eva, Parry Peak and James Peak. Please read Leader's Notes Below

Please note: This is a steep, high elevation hike, don't let the short mileage fool you!!! I expect total hike time (including breaks) around 5 hours. We will hike to the SW for a really nice close-up view of Vasquez Peak and then back to the NE just to the edge of Mary Jane Ski Area boundaries.
We will be able to avoid I-70 Construction traffic since we're hiking on a Friday, yay!!!

Required Equipment
Trekking Poles (Highly Recommended), Rain Gear (Tops & Bottoms), Wind Gear, 2 liters of water and the rest of the Ten Essentials.
