RMOTHG Trip – Burning Bear Trail

This 5 mile / 1000 ft elevation gain snowshoe starts & ends in Geneva Park off of Guanella Pass Rd - with beautiful views of snow-capped peaks and expansive meadows. Moose are not an infrequent sight here. The trail through dense forest will protect us from high winds as we trek to the ruins of an old cabin for lunch (and our turn-around spot). Pace will be steady.
