Scramble – Brainard Lake Rec Area - Long Lake TH - Little Pawnee Peak
This trip is for recent participants in the Northern Colorado Alpine Scrambling Course and is designed for students to practice skills they recently acquired. As such priority will be given to those participants.

This trip will be a moderately paced trip scrambling to Little Pawnee Peak. Most of the terrain will be class 3 with some options for more difficult class 4 scrambling. Depending on the ability and interest of the group we will either return the same way or continue on to Pawnee Peak. The trip leaders will bring a rope to provide a belay and/or setup a fixed line in exposed areas if desired by any participants.
Brainard Lake Picnic Site Day Use Parking. Time will be sent to participants before the activity.
Required Equipment
Helmet, harness, three locking carabiners, prusik, sling and approach shoes. Ice Axe.
