Scramble – Brainard Lake Rec Area - Long Lake TH - Navajo Peak
Navajo Peak via Airplane Gully. This trip is for recent participants in the Northern Colorado Alpine Scrambling Course and is designed for students to practice skills they recently acquired. As such priority will be given to those participants.

This trip will be a moderately paced trip scrambling to Navajo Peak via Airplane Gully. Most of the terrain will be class 3 with some options for more difficult class 4 scrambling. There is a good chance we will encounter snow. The trip leaders will bring a rope to provide a belay and/or setup a fixed line in exposed areas if desired by any participants.
Brainard Lake Picnic Site Day Use Parking. Time will be sent to participants before the activity.
Required Equipment
Helmet, harness, three locking carabiners, prusik, sling and approach shoes. Ice Axe.
