Scramble – Sunrise scramble of Buckets and Royal Arch

You must wear a helmet for these scrambles

Following our usual format, we'll hike up the Royal Arch trail, go a little ways off trail to the start of our first scramble. Buckets is a 4th class / 5.0 scramble of about 300'. It has some nice pockets where to place your feet, though quite steep. Once you top out, it's a walk off.

After we retrace our steps back to Royal Arch, let's savor the sunrise and do a quick 100' scramble up to the top of Royal Arch (also 4th class). Make sure you know how to down-scramble for this one!
