Blue Lake - Telluride
5.5 miles, 2100' elev. gain. This lake is in a beautiful basin, surrounded by 13'ers near Telluride.
Begin this hike at the power plant above Bridal Veil Falls. A short wheel base 4x4 is needed for the final couple of miles as it follows switchbacks up to the power plant where there is very limited parking. Start hiking on an old mine road which will lead to a trail to Blue Lake.
