Camp - Capital Reef National Park

Three night camping trip to the Fruita Campground Group site within Capital Reef National Park, Utah. There will be hikes planned for Friday and Saturday of varying difficulty within the National Park. Capital Reef National Park is a red red rock country treasure filled with cliffs, canyons, domes and natural bridges.

This is the Western Slope Group's first Spring camping and hiking trip.  This trip will camp and explore Capital Reef National Park. The group will be staying at the Fruita Campground Group site Thursday through Sunday (3 nights). Register with leader only.

There is limited parking at the group site. Bring your own food and camping gear. We will be sharing the group site camping fee of $125 per night. Maximum vehicle length in the group site is 27 feet. Note that trailers count towards the total site vehicle limit. The group site has flush toilets, drinking water, BBQ, fire ring, picnic tables, and picnic shelters

You may reserve an individual site for this trip, these spaces are generally reserved 6 months in advance on recreation.gov. Loop C is closest to the group site.
