Jonah, Whale, Shoestring and Martha Lakes
A loop trail of about 2 miles and an elevation gain of about 500 feet near Buffalo Pass near Steamboat Springs.
Drive to Buffalo Pass at 10,400' from either Walden or Steamboat Springs. Drivable with high clearance 2WD vehicles although AWD are better. From the Summit Lake trailhead, the loop trail skirting 4 lakes can be taken in either direction. It is a bit up and down, through forest and meadows past rock outcrops.
