Table Iron and Iron Mountain

A one way (car shuttle) off trail trip to Table Iron and Iron Mountains starting at Cameron Pass and finishing at Zimmerman Trailhead. The trip is 8.3 miles and has 2800 ft elevation gain. Note that this trip is MOSTLY off trail.

The trip starts at Cameron pass and goes off trail up a steep wooded area to a ridge that leads to Table Iron. On Table Iron check out the small arch. From Table Iron the climb up to Iron Mountain continues. Note there can be snow fields on the approach very late in the season. After summiting we will come back down to the saddle between Iron and Table Iron then follow a ridge down to the north east. The group will follow this ridge to just above Zimmerman Lake where we will go down hill to the north west to the lake. At the lake we will follow the trail down to the Zimmerman Trailhead.
