Belcher to Long Horn

Difficult, roughly 7.5 miles, 1,700' of gain, distance and elevation gain depends on actual route taken. Located in White Ranch Park. There are many additional loops and options available, but Longhorn is the main event because it is a directional bike only trial (downhill). The climb up belcher is a challenge, which can also be done as a shuttle.

Important Jeffco Park Use Updates Jan-Dec 2025:
  • All users of Jeffco parks (both free trips and paid for courses) must carry with them a copy of the CMC-Jeffco Permit or a yellow permit tag
  • The permit can be found at this link

This ride will reward you for getting the Belcher Hill sufferfest out of the way. The ride features some of the best singletrack in the Front Range. Technical drops, switchbacks, rock gardens, and climbs. It's everything a dirt lover could want.

The climb up Belcher Hill will test your legs but Longhorn's descent will put a smile back on your face. There is a short climb and some traversing after Longhorn, followed by additional downhill fun on the way back to your car.
