Vault toilet is clean and open. Sought shelter from the wind in leeward aspect of trees and in sundrenched open spaces. Successfully set declination for those that brought adjustable compasses. Overall review of plotting points with begin of exercises after a well-deserved lunchbreak. Everyone is in good spirits and cheerful. Great group dynamics between all participants. 1300: Achieved northernmost aspect of N. Rawhide Trail and S. Rawhide Trail at manmade shelter. Enjoyed well deserved break, group discussion, and decision to return to parking lot. 1400: Successful return to main parking lot. Excellent rotation of front and rear leadership throughout the day. Wayne served as an excellent Co-Leader and received 100% credit for assisting throughout the hike. Before group disbanded, I conducted a group discussion in which I asked each person to share one point that they learned as a result of the day's activities. Received positive reinforcement from all individuals.
