$0.00 | 89 (100 capacity) |
Join CMC Press author Malia Maunakea on Tuesday, April 25 at 6:00 pm for a free online clinic on the topic of backpacking with children.
Venturing into the backcountry overnight can be an unforgettable adventure that the whole family will treasure for years to come. But what does it take to plan a successful backpacking outing with kids? Seasoned hiking mom and author of Backpacking with Children Malia Maunakea will cover the basics, including how to plan a trip, what food, snacks, and drinks to bring, essential gear items (including how to go lightweight and some DIY projects), how much weight kids can carry, and the all-important games, diversions, and rewards.
Zoom login information will be emailed to participants the day of the event.
