  • This step of your CMC Trip Leader Journey comes after you have finished the Trip Leader School Online Skills Course and your Wilderness First Aid Course. The Trip Leader School Scenario Session Course is a prerequisite to leading a Leader in Training Hike and getting signed off as a CMC leader. TLS Step 3.png

8:30 am meet up on the west side patio of the Carter Nature Center. Restrooms are just around the corner. 

Plan on 3-3.5 hours to complete the field day agenda.

  • Trailhead orientation
  • Hike for ~ 1 - 1.5 hours, while discussing various trip Scenarios
  • Stop at picnic tables to discuss Incident management and reporting 
  • Review Trip Leader responsibilities and best practices 
  • Discuss next steps (LIT scheduling).

Watch for a pre-trip email, Friday the 6th, with weather updates and maps.
