Colorado Mountain Club has over 250 courses, classes, and schools that cover a wide variety of disciplines and are welcoming no matter your skill level. These courses and seminars range in intensity to fit your schedule - we have seminars that last just a few hours, or courses that cover several months with both classroom sessions as well as field days. Join CMC Press author Gil Folsom on Wednesday, August 24, at 6:00 pm for a free online slideshow presentation on his new book, Colorado Campgrounds 5th edition. Zoom login information will be emailed to participants the day of the event.

Join the Colorado Mountain Club (CMC) and the Colorado Trail Foundation (CTF) in honoring the 1st female President of the Colorado Mountain Club and the Mother of the Colorado Trail, Gudy Gaskill.

This office hour session will be an opportunity for trip leaders and leaders in training to ask any outstanding questions for review of website related tasks.

The Technical Climbing School is excited to host an adventure weekend based at the Camp Alexander area. This is open to ALL GROUPS. This weekend will include social adventures including rock climbing, mountain biking, and fly fishing.

This is a monthly meeting for CMC School Directors

We want to thank and honor the commited core group of Instructors that supported Alpine Climbing School in 2022. Please join us at the American Mountaineering Center's Mountaineering Museum for dinner and an informal appreciation ceremony.

The Eckart Roder Fund provides scholarships for CMC volunteer instructors, leaders, and schools to further their education and training. This is an evening of sharing food, stories, and supporting continued education at CMC.



CMC partners with Winter Wildlands Alliance to host Backcountry Film Festival screenings across Colorado each winter. All proceeds support CMC's Conservation Programs, including our Snow Rangers and snowsports advocacy work.
