The Colorado Mountain Club has been delivering education, conservation and recreational opportunities to the Colorado public since 1912. The CMC acts as a gateway to the mountains for novices and experts alike, offering an array of year-round activities, events and schools centered on outdoor recreation. The Club connects thousands of adventure-loving mountaineers and teaches the skills to safely and respectfully maximize living in an outdoor playground. Do you have a suggestion for improving a trip or activity? We want to hear from you to improve our Club. The best way to make your idea known is to tell the trip leader or other Group representative. Members are encouraged to call their Group chairpersons and other volunteers with suggestions and offers to help. If you have a complaint of any nature, we also want to hear from you. You are encouraged to use our Navex Ethicspoint Reporting System to make anonymous reports on complaints, safety issues, or mis-conduct and ethical violations.

Groups & Sections
CMC is organized into regional chapters or Groups across the state. When you become CMC member, you can join the Group of your choice. Each CMC Group provides outdoor recreation opportunities, skill building schools, and other social activities that customize your experience to your local geography and community. The Group you choose will provide the majority of Club services you receive, however, the activities of any CMC Group are open to members regardless of group affiliation.
