A fall hiking trip to enjoy the fall colors, September 25th to 27th based in Carbondale.  More details will be coming but it would be prudent to RSVP and get lodging/ camping now. Trip leaders are Jennifer Rhamy and Doug Hemken.

25 Sept (Fri): Storm King Memorial Trail

26 Sept (Sat): American Lake Trail 

or Avalanche Creek

27 Sept (Sun):  Cathedral Lake Trail 

or Thomas Lakes Trail

or Mt Sopris

28 Sept (Mon): Capital Ditch Trail

There is a KOA campground on the river which may be full but other campgrounds are in the area, including Redstone and Bogan Flats.   If you would be interested in sharing a campsite at Redstone or Bogan Flats, contact Doug. There is a nice Comfort Inn in Carbondale along with other choices.
