We will meet at Wooly Mammoth Park and Ride, section BB, across from the Exxon gas station, at 6:30 AM so we can form carpools for the drive to the trailhead. We will leave at 6:35.  Here’s a Google Maps link to Wooly Mammoth: Wooly Mammoth Park-N-Ride · 18560 US-40, Golden, CO 80401

From All Trails: "This is an awesome out and back hike that uses a shorter stretch of the much longer Fall Creek Trail. This route...to Lake Constantine, goes through some wooded, shaded valley and then onto some more exposed ridge line trail. The lake itself is really nice, and in good weather some hikers have been known to go for a dip."

This is a popular destination so we'll likely encounter other people in the area (although midweek it shouldn't be overrun).

This area is within the Holy Cross Wilderness. We will need to camp 100 ft away of the lake, although there should be plenty of camping spaces. We will also use Leave No Tract techniques camping here.

If we have extra time, we can explore Lake Constantine, a nearby waterfall, and/or Tuhare Lakes, or we can continue up the Fall Creek Trail to some higher viewpoints.
