We will meet at the Twin Forks Park and Ride early Saturday morning. Participants will be emailed carpooling directions prior to the trip.
Anticipate an early start on Day 1, and return on the evening of Day 2.
This is a short, steep hike up a heavily-wood gorge. We will be ascending 1,700 feet in 2.5 miles, so be ready for a workout. Due to the lengthy drive to the trailhead (approximately 4 hours) anticipate the possibility of rain/thunderstorms impacting our approach. The entire route is below treeline.
I will be contacting participants in the 2 weeks before the trip to ensure you're prepared for this trip, and reserve the right to remove people who don't seem quite ready for it. Please keep an eye on your email for this correspondence!
