This is a trip to the Brainard Cabin. Bring all your warm winter clothes. Winds are expected to be 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. We will plan to take the Waldrop trail to the Cabin, warmup for a bit, and hit the road on the way back or potentially another trail if we are up for it. 

I'm not too excited about snowshoes so I plan to leave mine behind and bring micro spikes. Your choice! It appears there is little snow on the road but enough snow on the trails for snowshoes. 

We will meet at the Winter Parking Lot for the Brainard Lake area at 8 am. Detailed plans will be emailed to the group on Friday. Plan on the trip taking a solid half day.
