Hiking – Mt. Margaret Trail
Hike through ponderosa pines, meadows, aspen, and granite outcroppings out and back 7.6 miles to Mt. Margaret and enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding Red Feather Lakes area.

Good paved road to the trailhead.
We had a nice 7.6 mile hike along the Mt. Margaret trail and back. Although the forecast was for sun, the day was cool and overcast--no rain. We had a nice lunch break at the base of Mt. Margaret before returning the gradual ascent to the TH.
