Denver Group Conservation Quarterly Program Night

Brian Banks, the District Ranger for the USFS South Platte Ranger District in Conifer, will be the guest speaker for the fall virtual program night sponsored by the Denver Group Conservation & Trails Committee. The South Platte Ranger District is heavily used by CMC trips and classes. The District is the main Forest Service player in the new CPW Regional Recreation Partnership, Outside-285. District concerns include activities around Guanella and Kenosha Passes; relocation of the Ben Tyler Trailhead and parking.

Brian Banks, the District Ranger for the USFS South Platte Ranger District in Conifer, will be the guest speaker for the fall virtual program night sponsored by the Denver Group Conservation & Trails Committee. The evening is cosponsored by the CMC Conservation Department. Julie Mach, CMC's Chief Conservation Officer, will again serve as our M.C.

District concerns include activities around Guanella and Kenosha Passes; relocation of the Ben Tyler Trailhead and parking. We'll take questions via the Chat box, or as determined by Julie.  

After Brian's presentation, Julie will provide her statewide Conservation and Stewardship updates, to be followed by Denver Group specific updates. We will fiinish around 8 PM.
