An Evening with Author and Thru-Hiker Becky "Serendipity" Jensen

Join Colorado Mountain Club's Northern Chapter for an evening with local author and thru-hiker Becky "Serendipity" Jensen. Becky will sign and discuss her memoir No Man's Land, an inspiring story of personal transformation on the 500-mile Colorado Trail. Named to Colorado Public Radio’s “Books We Love” list for 2025, No Man's Land is equal parts mental health journey, adventure story, midlife reckoning, and vivid nature writing — sure to resonate with men and women, hikers and non-hikers alike, who crave change in their lives and seek nature as medicine.

Author Becky Jensen

Becky Jensen is an author and freelance writer who lives and works in a little cabin on a wild river in northern Colorado. In addition to her debut memoir No Man’s Land: Unpacking One Woman's Worth on the Colorado Trail, she wrote the lead story in Rise: An Anthology of Change, winner of the Colorado Book Award. When she’s not hiking in the mountains, she’s working on her next book about moving in with her mom (who has Alzheimer’s) during a ten-week evacuation from the Cameron Peak wildfire. You can find her at beckyjensenwrites.com.

This event is co-hosted with Wolverine Publick House and is free and open to the public. The talk will begin at 6 pm, followed by Q&A. Please plan to arrive early if you would like to purchase beverages or snacks. Perelandra Bookshop will have copies of No Man's Land available for purchase.
