Introduction to Psychological First Aid
This interactive Psychological First Aid seminar introduces Colorado Mountain Club trip leaders, instructors, and members to practical skills for supporting emotional well-being during backcountry incidents. Through a presentation and hands-on practice, participants will learn to recognize emotional distress, communicate calmly, provide reassurance and practical support, and help manage group stress while awaiting assistance.
