We will meet at King Soopers (NW corner) N College Ave at 7:30 AM, and depart at 7:45 AM (King Soopers - Google Maps)

This loop hike explores the Red Mountain Open Space and promises an immersive journey through a tapestry of natural wonders. As we traverse the network of trails, including the scenic K-Lynn Cameron and Bent Rock routes, we'll be engulfed in a captivating landscape. Each step reveals new treasures, from the striking red rock formations to the delicate wildflowers that adorn the terrain. we'll take our time to soak in the sights, sounds, and scents of this intriguing environment, where every twist and turn offers the possibility of an exciting discovery. We never know what fascinating wildlife or hidden geological marvels may reveal themselves along the way. With each stride, we'll deepen your connection to the beauty and intricacy of nature, making every moment of this discovery hike a truly enriching experience. We'll find a comfortable spot for snack/lunch. Our pace will be comfortable for all group members. Overall this hike is ~6 miles and ~700 ft elevation gain. (RMOS Loop 1 - CalTopo)

The Colorado Mountain Club's Ascending Hike Section (AHS) provides an opportunity to make new friends and explore new places in Colorado's backcountry, while increasing your personal hiking speed, strength, and stamina.
