Join the Boulder Risk Management School for a hands-on field event using Garmin inReach and other satellite communications devices. This event will include the following:
- A live demonstration of what happens when you push the SOS button on a Garmin inReach Mini-2 at 9:15am. (This time is pre-arranged with Garmin and cannot be delayed for late arrivals).
- The opportunity to set up a Garmin inReach device in the field for inReach to inReach communications
- A demonstration of how to communicate between a Garmin inReach device and a satellite communications device from another provider (exact devices will depend on what participants have available).
You MUST bring a satellite communications device to this session, it is only for people who already own one.
