Boulder Group is pleased to announce the second course for the new Boulder Risk Management School. This session, which is part 2 of a two-part course, will cover the basics of Preventative Search and Rescue (PSAR) and then present an overview of the CMC's Incident Management System.
Although accidents are rare on CMC trips, when one does happen the situation can be chaotic and overwhelming for both the trip leader and the participants. The CMC's Incident Management System is designed to "bring order to the chaos" and provide a framework for managing the incident.
This initial presentation will be limited to Boulder Group trip leaders, attendance is deliberately being kept small to facilitate discussion. We plan to run this program approximately once a month, so please check back for future offerings.
A Zoom Link will be sent to participants on July 14th.
