This presentation will focus on the InReach Mini2. Topics covered will include the SOS function, InReach to InReach communications, InReach to other user communications, and a look at some of the navigation tools available. Keith will also answer questions on any satellite communications issues as time allows.

To get the most out of this event, participants are encouraged to watch Keith's informative video 'Overview of Satellite Communication Devices' in advance.

About your Presenter:

Keith Stinebaugh is a trip leader, technical trip leader, and instructor for the Colorado Mountain Club. He is an avid climber (ice, rock, mountains), hiker, skier, and snowshoer. He has a special interest in emergency communications and how they fit in to CMC's  risk management/incident management framework.
